Our Legacy
With over 60 years of expertise and innovation in the manufacturing and sale of patient handling systems, Hausted began in 1949 when Ray Hausted designed and developed the Easy Lift Mobile stretcher in Medina, Ohio. This stretcher was custom designed with a tilt surface allowing a patient to be easily transferred off and on to a surgical platform. It was here that Hausted’s reputation of customization for the customer was built. Today, we continue to fulfill the varying needs of our customers, providing customization to over 28 models of mobile stretchers and chairs.
